Whether your art is your vocation, your hobby, or your therapy, doing your creative thing isn't meant to be a burden. Making art is a JOY, and through our artistic pursuits we can bring great HOPE to those around us. So what's keeping you from doing that creative thing you love? As a fellow creative, I know how hard it can be to start, be consistent, and finish your art. That's why I am challenging myself to spending 30 days developing a daily practice of hopeful creativity and I would love for you to join me! If you are an author, painter, gardener, chef, songwriter, poet, etc., this is for you!
30 Days of Hopeful Creativity was born out of my personal mission statement: To do creative work that inspires and equips others to do their creative work. If you would like to join me on this journey, simply click the "JOIN" button above where you'll be directed to my contact page and I will add you to the list! I'll send you a little form to fill out - don't panic, it will be easy - so you can tell me a little bit about yourself and what creative work you are doing. In return, I'll send you a few details about what all of this will look like.
Then, beginning April 1st, I will email a little dose of daily encouragement to help you with stay on the creative path. There will be an optional, private Facebook group for you to join where we can encourage one another, offer tips for staying the course, and share links to other helpful resources. I'll also provide a place on my website for you to share your work IF you choose to do so. Poems, recipes, photos, recordings, writings, whatever! It will be a fun way to encourage each other simply by doing what we love and in the process, develop some good creative habits! Sound good?
I hope you'll consider joining me! Together, let's put some beautiful things out into the world!
